Hello ,
I'm planning to monitor a seriell port which pipes out a lot lot
of logging data and looking for suitable tool .
I only have very little experience with kermit . But I'm wondering if it
could do the job . It must be a kind of script which
- open a a seriell port
- open a file
- read data writes it into the file
- after a certain time closes the file
- (preferably can zip the data before stored)
- open new file
- :
- :
- close manually last file
- stop
Can someone tell me if kermit can do it ????
thanks a lot
